Employees who only receive a W-2: these individuals may not need bookkeeping services.

Businesses organized as partnerships, multi-member LLCs, or corporations: these businesses may benefit from the next tier of bookkeeping services below and additional QuickBooks functions.

  • Includes:

    • Monthly subscription to QuickBooks Simple Start – billed directly to Nebula Bookkeeping.

    PLUS, Nebula Bookkeeping will:

    • Setup QuickBooks account, including creating an industry-specific Chart of Accounts and activating and assigning account numbers.

    • Categorize and add details to all expenses.

    • Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.

    • Breakdown profitability and margins.

    • Detail this and other real-time financial data in a monthly management report package, including dashboards.

    • Provide profit and loss statements at year-end in a format you or your tax accountant will love.

    • Be accessible for convenient support via phone, e-mail, or video.

  • Clear out balances in the Uncategorized Income, Expense and Asset and Ask My Accountant accounts, and

  • Timely hand your tax accountant a clean set of books.

Perfect for
Small to medium service businesses.

  • During the first quarter of your service, Nebula Bookkeeping will:

    • Perform a complete review of books to date.

    • Enable and assign Account Numbers. 

    • Append Chart of Accounts to include more useful and detailed accounts.

    • Post journal entries, as needed, to tidy opening balances in Opening Equity Balance, Uncategorized Assets, Accumulated Depreciation accounts, etc. 

    During this and all subsequent quarters of your service, Nebula Bookkeeping will:

    • Resolve balances in uncategorized and Ask My Accountant accounts and unexpected (negative) balances in other accounts.

    • Coordinate with you to create and map company-specific accounts.

    • Reclassify current transactions and edit service items to utilize new accounts and consolidate duplicative line items.

    • Assess and recategorize items in overused expense groupings to provide more detailed reporting.

    • Assist in the management of personalized tags, locations, and other Quickbooks lists that enable you to slice and dice your data.

    • Provide a quarterly management report package and hold a quarterly financial call to review your results and discuss the upcoming quarter.

    • Be accessible to your tax accountant to answer questions about your books.

    • Create any additional accounts or journal entries suggested by your tax accountant.

    Does not include:
