Hi, I am Megan Olson, CPA, MST and now ProAdvisor.

As a CPA and tax accountant, I’ve had:

• 10 years experience preparing individual and business tax returns,

• 100s of clients in consulting, biotechnology, and SaaS niches,

• And supervisor and manager positions in public accounting and internal corporate tax departments.

As a bookkeeper, I am:

• Helping growing businesses with strong ties to their communities.

• As comfortable speaking accounting lingo as I am standard business English.

• Conscious of what your tax accountant will be looking for, because I’ve been one!

As a life-long student, I’ve earned:

• a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut,

• a Master’s degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California,

• a Grant Writing certification from the University of South Carolina,

• and advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certifications.

Why “Nebula” Books?

I love science fiction books! On a weekend morning, you would likely find me sitting on the floor of a library or used bookstore poring over stories about life in other star systems. These stories are usually allegories for our own world.

A nebula is a place with lots of gas and matter. As nebulas continue to grow and attract more material, they eventually transform that material into bright, light-giving stars. In my perspective, financial data is the swirling material that, when well ordered, can turn your business into a shining star.
