As a CPA and tax accountant, I had:

• 10 years experience preparing individual and business tax returns

• 100s of clients in consulting, biotechnology, and SaaS niches

• Supervisor and manager positions in public accounting and corporate tax departments

As a bookkeeper, I love:

• Helping businesses grow and strengthen their community ties

• Translating accounting lingo into regular English

• Knowing what your tax accountant needs, because I’ve been one!

As a life-long student, I earned:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut

• Master’s degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California

• Grant Writing certification from the University of South Carolina

• Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero certifications

Why “Nebula” Books?

I love science fiction books! On a weekend morning, you would likely find me sitting on the floor of a library or used bookstore poring over stories about life in other star systems. These stories are usually allegories for our own world.

A nebula is a place with lots of gas and matter. As nebulas continue to grow and attract more material, they eventually transform that material into bright, light-giving stars. In my perspective, financial data is the swirling material that, when well ordered, can turn your business into a shining star.
